There’s No Stopping Naturi Naughton

Naturi Naughton has taken off into the fame stratosphere. Her star had already been climbing steadily, but it has now moved to a vertical course and is accelerating rapidly.

While in her mid-teens, a stint in the gold record-producing girl group 3LW got things started. A role in the touring and Broadway companies of Hairspray as Little Inez kept it moving. A butt-kicking performance as Lil Kim in Notorious gave it momentum. And now, at twenty-five, her bravura showing in Fame has her defying gravity altogether.

Naturi is following in the footsteps of Beyonce and Jennifer Hudson, as the next great multitalented female star in our midst. Next up? A comedy with Ice Cube, a sure recording deal and cool affiliations (such as her current one with Great Friends Greetings).
